How do We Find Balance when Digital and Analog Are Important?
Analog Process - Digital Product:
E.g. make something such as a model or drawing using "vintage technology". Take photos of it. Add text and audio to create something new such as an electronic book. |
Digital Process - Analog Product:
E.g. take photographs or screenshots of a process, put them into a comic maker to order them, add audio descriptions and type key words (such as conjunctions or linking words that indicate time), use this as a plan to write final recount or procedure by hand. |

Making the PYP Happen
p11: In the PYP, information and communication technology (ICT) is not identified as a particular subject area, but is recognized as a tool that facilitates learning throughout the curriculum.
p43: It is best considered as a tool for learning, albeit with its own set of skills, as opposed to an additional subject area. ICT skills should be developed and learned in order to support the needs of individual learners in their inquiries.
